Consulation Needs Your Input

The Safer & Stronger Scrutiny committee which I chair has established a sub group which also includes Councillors from Fenland District Council and Huntingdonshire District Council, to undertake a strategic review of domestic abuse services in Cambridgeshire.

The review group have met victims of domestic abuse and a wide range of front line workers, managers and senior decision makers in statutory and voluntary organisations to gain an insight into service provision across the county.

The group have drafted their report (at the bottom of this page) and would welcome comments on their findings and recommendations. An accompanying letter sets out the consultation questions and process.

The consultation period will end on the 8th May 2012. The report will then be considered by the full Overview and Scrutiny Committee on the 14th June and submitted to Cabinet, and other relevant decision making bodies, for their approval.
